I am looking for the family of James ELLIOTT, b abt 1795, Ireland, could be Co. Cavan, emigrated first to the US abt 1818 where his first son was born 1820 or so, then on to Durham Co., Ontario, Canada. He m Christiana (or var) POTTS in Ireland. She was dau of John POTTS and Janet TOUGH (or var of either name). I have much info on their children and descendants. Need info on his parents, sibs, birthplace, etc. Thanks for any help. Joyce
