I would like to know if anyone connects with this Elliott family, as this is where my Elliott line comes from. I know that in "History of Albemarle County in Virginia" it talks of a William Wood family moving there from Md. along with a John Turner and Thomas Wills, and that a few years later, Michael Catterton, Samuel Wills, John Ward and John Elliott joined them in the same neighborhood. These are familiar surnames in Calvert Co., but the book doesn't list Calvert, it just says from Maryland. Thanks for the posting Harry, as it's another avenue to search. Jan R.
