In a book titled: "Westmoreland Towns in the World War", (1917-1919): in the West Newton, PA section: ELLIOTT, Wm., entered service Aug. 3, 1918, was assigned to Camp Custer and attached to Company D, 542nd Engineers. Went overseas Sept. 18, 1918, returned July 5, 1919, and was honorably discharged July 10, 1919. (sorry, no picture) Sandy WEIR This man is not part of my ELLIOTT line.
