KY last week and copied some things from a book my friend had. It said, Richard Elliott was born on the passage from Ireland to the USA and ultimatly moved to Montgomery Co.KY and died in 1799. However I do have another Richard. James Stewart Elliott married 2nd wife Mary (Polly) Mahoney, their children: Richard 11 marrieid Nancy Lewis I don't have any dates, except Jame was born in 1770 That sounds about right. That would have made him about 27 when Richard was born. I'm not much good at this. But if this is the Richard your looking for, he would have been a half brother to Samuel who would have been my gggrandather. So what relation would that make us? 3rd or 4th cousins? Hope this helps.
