Recently finding a new hope for the parents of my ggggrandfather leads me to a John Elliott Jr. who married a Rebekah Camell, who married on Feb. 13, 1798 in Loudoun Co., Va. John Jr. had a brother named David. John Elliott later shows up in a 1810 census of Trigg Co., Ky. as John Eliot--head of household 2 males and 1 female under age 10 1 male age 16-26 1 male age 26-45 1 female age 26-45 My ggggrandfather Benjamin B. Elliott B. Sept 04, 1801 would have been 9 years of age at this time. Trigg Co. was a part of Christain and Caldwell Co., in this 1810 census.
