Dear List, I had wonderful success on this list with finding information about my great grandfather and now I am trying again to find if Thomas or Tommy Elliott or his sister Marcia Elliott, (or their children) have any information about their great-uncle Clarence W. Elliott. Tommy Elliott is the son of Thomas D. Elliott (b.d. 1919, d. Jun 1, 1966, Orange County, CA) and Barbara. Grandson of William Elliott (born Chapel Hill, TN, 1895) and Marian or Marion. Great grandson of James Petway Elliott,(b. 3/8/1851, d. 10/31/1920 Chapel Hill, TN) and America (Mecca) Ann Martin (b. 12/7/1851, d. 1/30/1906, Chapel Hill, TN) Mecca and James Petway were married 3/17/1877. I suspect Clarence W. Elliott may have changed his name to Taylor Waive Elliott once he came to California probably in the early 1900's. That's what I'm trying to pin down.
