This is also a correction of the surviving children. There were seven, Dorothy Marie, Shed jr., Virginia, Ruth Florene, James Chester, Samuel, Fredonia Susan (my line). Shed's parents were Edward and Virginia (Smith) Elliott. I found where they were married in Howard County, IN. on Nov 1887 and there was an Edward Elliott (Shed's older brother)born in Howard County in 1885. This is where the brick wall comes in. I know that they died in (Adair County, KY in the 1930's but that is all I know. Some of their other children that I know about were Wallace, Lula(Elliott)Haggard, Sally (Elliott) Patterson, Cecile (Celia, Celie), Annie (Elliott)Jones, Myrtle (Elliott)Cheatham. They all ended up in Kentucky although Shed (moved to IN in 1910), Edward (died 1970), and Wallace all moved back to Indiana where they died. Sally married and moved to Michigan. I can't find any Adair Census for 1910. If anyone has any information please let me know.
