While showing you one of the many NEW options, I want to share some pictures of a few of my Elliott ancestor's . . . http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec?htx=board&r=rw&p=surnames.Elliott The first one is Willis Elliott 1799-1901 and his wife Polly VanDerpool 1800-1890 . . . yep Polly is smoking a corn cob pipe here . . . they are my 4th great grandparents ! the second picture is Thomas Riley Hedgpeth 1830-1887 and his wife Eliza Jane Elliott 1833-1917 . . . these are my 3rd great grandparents . . . Eliza Jane is a daughter of Willis and Polly (VDP) Elliott . . . These pictures came to me indirectly from a distant cousin, Beth McElfresh [who was a grand-daughter of TR & EJ Hedgpeth]. One of many article Beth wrote for the Women's Day Magazine [July 1966, about my Hedgpeth ancestors coming to California from Missouri in 1858-59], along with these and a few other pictures got me started in my family research, back in 1970 . . .
