George was the son of Otis ELLIOTT and Hannah BABB. George's wife, Alvira, was born in 24 January 1828 in PA and died 02 May 1879 prob. in PA. George and Alvira are both interred at Checkerville Cemetery, Bradford County, PA. George and Alvira had a family of at least four children, all believed to be born in Springfield Township between 1851 and 1864. Their names are: James (1851-1913) Frank (1855-1883) Gardner (1857-?)
