    3. I am searching for William Elliott of Augusta, VA. Apparently there were two William Elliotts there. These two William Elliotts are frequently mixed up. Mine was killed by Indians on the South Fork of the Potomac River. His wife may have been killed also, but I have her taking her son James to Chapel Hill, Marshall Co., TN. James may have been taken by another family if his mother was also killed. I can not find William's parents. They may have come from Ireland.
