Roland: John is a very big name in my Elliotts. My first knowledge was Welsh Run, Franklin co PA abt 1800. They may have come from VA. I have Robert and his son Benjamin (not sure of these) in PA the first one I'm sure of is John b 1800 PA m Susannah Maxwell his son was Maxwell Elliott b 1820 m Nancy Angle. John's father Benjamin (If true) was b 1775 and his father Robert was b 1750. I think he was supertendant of roads for PA.
