My latest quest is to try and find descendants of Everett Elliott (b.1868). Everett was the first born child of James S. Elliott (b.1928) and Emaline Doty (b.1847). James was the son of John Elliott and Rebecca Steele of Virginia who came to Washington Twp. Tippecanoe Co., Indiana in 1831. James and Emaline had at least 6 living children; Everett, Alla (b.1871), Curtis (b.1873), Dora (b.1875), Ursula (b.1884), Cloe (b.1887). Everett and his wife Mary (?) had at least 4 living children; Raymond R. (b.1892), Luther (b.1908), Violet C. (b.1910) and Helen (b.1913). All born in Indiana. The only other descendant I know of is Raymond’s son, William (Wild Bill) Elliott. I have a picture of him, my father and my father’s brother taken during WWII.
