I have had excellent support from some great Elliotts in researching my Elliott ancestors but cannot find any current relatives willing to come out of the hills and claim me. My ggggrandfather was Hiram,born 1800 m.Susannah Royall. His son was Nathaniel Henry Clay Elliott, born 1843 Tn., and his sons were Bushrod, Nathaniel,Custus,Eugene,Soule,and Talmage. His grandson, Estes Elliott,born 1890,Tx.,was my grandfather. Everyone's family couldn't have become extinct. Where are they?These are weird names, folks. Yours?
