Williams, originally of Va. This info is from the book, History of Howard and Chariton Counties. He was born in White Co, Illinois on Oct 30, 1824 and son of Thomas and Elizabeth (Turner) Elliott. The family moved to Chariton Co, Mo when Samuel was 11 yrs old. Thomas was a native of KY, Sarah was born in NC. Both Thomas and Sarah were moved to Illinois as children. There is a little more info on this family if you believe this is yours. I would like to exchange any info you might have as I am not sure yet if this family links to mine.
