The first one I have record of is Peter or Poeter Elliott. He was one of the original settlers of Darby, PA, along the Delaware River. He was first spotted in PA in 1636. in 1663 he was Christened. I believe this is when he converted to Quakerism. So far my research is making me believe his parents were from Massachusetts and that they emigrated there in the very early 1600's...perhaps 1604 - 1620. I have Peter's will which names his children and the wills of his children, all the way down to my father. Let me know if there are any particular names in the Pennsylvania line you are looking for.
