My husband's great-great grandfather was Dr. LaBaume Elliott. Many articles said that he was born in Maury Co., TN, but one article said he was born in Williamson Co., TN. He was born on 13 Jan. 1822 and died on 23 May 1901. He came to Rusk Co., TX after 1849 and was in Nacogdoches and Danville. He married Frances Ann Burnett in Nacogdoches. They moved to Dallas, TX in 1869. If you get this message, I would love to talk with you. It looks like maybe we have a connection. To date, I have not found any other names for LaBaume's parents.
