I have LONG suspected that all the Wilson Co., TN Elliotts are descended from or related to Samuel Elliott who settled there in abt 1800. His brother, John B. Elliott settled in Rutherford Co. TN at the same time. Then, in 1819 they both moved to northern Alabama - John to Limestone Co. and Samuel to Lawrence Co. My husband is descended from both brothers - Samuel's daughter Elizabeth Elliott married John B.
