We have a DAVID and a JOHN ELLIOTT in our tree - working on at present time - believe these Elliotts to be United Empire Loyalists, who were in Dutchess Co., NY,at one time. There are ties to Elizabethtown (Leeds), Ontario, Canada, where they emigrated, eventually rerurning to the U.S. Would love to hear about any info regarding David and John.
