I am so glad you are better I can tell by the tone of your letter you are much better. I only met William Stone Elliott through the internet about two months ago. He is the grandson of John Samuel Elliott the older brother of Edgar and my mother Lura. He lives in Healdton, Oklahoma and is in the banking business. He and his wife Carolyn have four sons - but I am sure they will tell you all that kind of stuff. Their e-mail is zia@Texhoma.com . I'm researching the family of John (b. 1828-England) and his wife, Deborah (b. 1833). They had five children: Rosina?, Mary, William, Sam, and John (who later married Albertha Stockdale in 1883). The family of John and Deborah lived in the town of Lindsay, Victoria Co., Ont. where John was a miller. I would appreciate any information that anyone may have.

Looking for information re: Ancestry of Mary F. Elliott (could be Mary I. Elliott) and son Joshua Edward Elliott. Joshua born 1876 died 1935. Joshua lived in Milam Co., Texas, not sure if born in Texas or possibly Tennessee. Joshua married Lela Fikes. Mother of Joshua, Mary Elliott married Martin Luther Fikes in 1894. He mustered in as a Lt and was mustered out as a Capt. Mary Reece disappears prior to 1844 when Hiram marries Nancy Wilhelm. He then marries one more time in 1870 to Mary Sadler. Hiram passed away on 22 Mar, 1897 in OK Territory. I am Hirams GG Grandson, through son Warren, born in June of 1845.
