Carl, Also William married a Sarah Wilkes in Pa. They had 11 children. Both William and Sarah died in Ohio. William in 1842 and Sarah in 1851.

Carl, My information concerning "Wealthy" is that he was born in Northern Ireland. He was shipwrecked on the "Faithful Steward" and died Sep 1, 1785 with the majority of the family. His two sons William and Simon met up with the oldest son John and moved to PA. My research shows three sisters. I do not know any of their names. I am a decendent of William. Does this ring a bell? James Elliott married Mary Ellen Moneygold/Monigold June 15, 1869 in Richmond, Ohio. Thier Children were: Frank, John, Armstong(Army), Harry W. & Lillie Mae. Both James & Mary are buried in Jefferson Co.East Springfield, Ohio. But Jefferson Co. has no record of his death, nor do the surrounding counties. James was born Aug, 1846 died July, 1902. I have a David W. Elliott who was in Crawford county and Marion county from about 1840 to 1860. There is another David W. Elliott in Delaware county about the same time. Would like to know if there is a relationship or more about any of the Elliotts of these counties. --Sharon

In my lines, there is both a Washington and a Nimrod Elliott. Born to William Elliott and Eleanor Burgess. From what I have so far, it appears both were born in Fauquier Co VA. Is this the same line?
