Grandma's children always said she was raised as an orphan by Caroline Trotter. We did find the kids all on a 1880 Federal Census in Missouri. We know two of the boys went to Oregon, one went to Indian Territory and was never heard from again, the other boy we have no idea of what happened to him. Every path turns to a brick wall. Oh, we do know that one of teh boy's middle name was Newton, we think it was John as Grandma named one of her boys John Newton. Sorry we can't help more.
