    1. [ELLIOTT] Frances Elliott b. 1771, VA
    2. Hi Listers! One of my brick walls is Frances Elliott, my 3G Grandmother. She married William O. Beckham in 1795, also in VA. They had several children. They appear on the 1810 census of Prince William Co., VA and the 1820 census of Loudoun Co., VA. Frances died in 1823.The family migrated to OH sometime in the mid-1820s. I don't know where Frances died. The family appears on the 1830 census of Licking Co., OH and all the following census years. William remarried in 1825. He died there in 1858. Any connections? I was hoping to relate them to James Elliott born about 1845 in Essex Co. My husband Joseph Elliott was born in K&Q co in 1930 and said all the Elliotts in those two counties were related and had lived there for centuries. Would love to hear from you. All were born circa 1740-1760. Their names are: Robert. Married a Ms. Dobson. Had a daughter (name unknown) and a son PETER (1774-1863). Information on Peter and his offspring can be found at: http://www.wscottsmith.com/elliotthouse/history/elliott.htm He ended up in Evansville, Indiana where his two sons, Joseph and William, lived. Joseph. Moved to Baltimore, MD. Thomas. Moved to Richmond, VA. Only one child lived to adulthood-a daughter. All three of these brothers supposedly served in the Revolution. I'm also trying to connect these three mid-18th C. brothers to a Col. Anthony Elliott from 17th C. Gloucester County, Virginia. He had three sons: William, Thomas, Robert. W. I believe his parents were Abraham Elliott, Sr. and Sarah Pike Piggott. The Bell name you mentioned may be connected to my family. Can you tell me anything more about the book, availability, etc? None of the other names you inquired about are familiar to me, but I will keep them in mind.
