Can anyone plac this woman, who worked as a waitress in the Black Boy Hotel in 1881, a widow born in Llangollen, aged 37. I am assuming she was the wife of an Elkington. Regards Don
Hi Don, THe dates dont seem to mesh with the Pembrey, Wales, lot of our family, but Llangollen is further north, nearer Birmingham so perhaps related to anyone in Birmingham form James 1770 onward,, for example, I have no expanded tree for James oldest brother Thomas 1761 of Kenilworth, listed as branch IV. there are descendants in the area from that time. On another tack,,, perhaps an E daughter that after becoming widowed assumed her family name also,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ? a M(iss) or M(rs) E? regards, R -----Original Message----- From: elkington-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:elkington-bounces@rootsweb.com]On Behalf Of Don Elkington Sent: August 28, 2009 11:43 PM To: Rootsweb Post to ELKINGTON Subject: [ELKINGTON] M.
