    2. Hi I am working on several branches of a family tree at the moment but I need some advice. The family is founded, for my records, on one man born in Oxfordshire in 1505. For three generations the family remained there and then several sons split off into various counties. As they formed themselves into families in each county I have noted this also giving them the title of Warwickshire Branch 1, or Warwickshire Branch 11 or whatever their first ancestor moved to. Now comes the problem, because several of them moved to other counties some three hundred years or so further on. Do I carry on with the Branch and County Numbers or do I give them new branches. Each name has the date of birth and county of birth attached but should I carry on with the note Warwickshire Branch 1 or Warwickshire Branch 11 also to show where they originated from. If they go to Australia, Canada or New Zealand or other country, I have given them the btitle of, for example, Warwick Shire Branch I Canadian Branch I. Is this method of recording satisfactory or could yiou suggest a better way of noting it. JUDY ELKINGTON [N.
