I am so sad to hear of the passing of Judy. She has been so kind and helpful to me over recent years and provided me with a hard copy of my Tree from Richard of Cropredy down to myself when I had almost given up hope of learning about my Elkington ancestors. She also obtained for me, without my asking, copies of the English marriage certificates of my paternal grandmother, Jane Guinnee, and her sister Eliza. Sadly I have been unable to locate where they came from in Ireland, though I believe it to be Cork or Kerry. I used to speak with Judy on the telephone from time to time and it was only my own serious illness this year that caused me to let the occasion to do so slip longer than usual, though she has recently been in my thoughts and prayers. If possible, I should be grateful if my sincere sympathy could be passed on to Judy's family. She was so proud of them all and shared photos of them with me. I am retired Catholic priest, I suspect the only one in the Elkington family, and shall celebrate Holy Mass for the repose of Judy's dear soul and for the consolation of her family.Cyril Elkington
