Judy The only Elkington immigration record I can find in the period you mention is Charles Elkington and his wife who appear in the Kingston Ontario Immigration Agent's list on 7 April 1862: they are said to be headed for Frontenac Road and "healthy and responsible; bought land/settled in Clarendon; capital $250; settler".
