Hi Just wanted to thank Ian Gammage for his marvellous notes on this man who emigrated from Oxfordshire to Tooele in the USA. Although he was the illegitimate son of Sarah Ann Elkington and Isaac Jones, he carries his mother's surname because she wasn't married. Thank you Ian for your help.
