Hello Judy, it is several years since I have been able to pursue my researches. I have looked through my numerous files and am attaching one image that might be of use to you. Some of my information came from you so excuse me if I am telling you what you already know. You mention Tom marrying Emily Cluett (2.5.1869). I seem to have a note of his subsequently marrying Emily Davis in 1890 but cannot remember where I got that from. In the 1901 census there is a Thomas aged 245 with wife Lilian 22 at 223-225 Roman Rd and Emily, widow, at 227 (could that be Emily Cluett or Davis?) Much of what I had is in my E-mail to you of 26th Feb 2006. If you have lost that I could send you a copy. I am certainly interested in this family and its descendants as I think one of the early family, probably Charles, could have sired my paternal grandfather, Charles Elkington Older. A possible tree could take us from the Thomas and Emily to: Children Alfred (b. 1872), m.Annie (b. 1874); Thomas (b.1877), m. Lilian (b. 1879) Also from John (b.1842) m. Eliza (b. 1847): to children John, S V (b. 1875) to John H (b. 1897. This is rather speculative, however, and I cannot for the moment remember my sources (probably censuses). When I have time I will try to pursue that. Would be interested to here your response to all this!
