Seeking information on the family and origins of Abigail ELDRED b.a. 1708 in RI m. 30 Jun 1726 in South Kingstown, Kings (later Washington) Co. RI to Henry GARDNER or GARDINER (1704-1791). They had at least two children: Hannah b. 1729 m. Jeffrey WATSON, and Mary b. 1732 m. Daniel SHAW of Stonington, New London Co. CT. Abigail appears to have d. between 1732 and 1736, for Henry GARDNER m. (2) Anna CHAMPLAIN on 27 Jun 1736. I believe Abigail to be the daughter of Samuel ELDRED (c.1678-Feb 1717/18) of Kingstown RI, who m.a. 1705 to Abigail NORTHRUP (c.1685-aft.1722), and the granddaughter of Thomas ELDRED (1648-1726) and his wife Susanna COLE.
