I am looking for the ancestors of George Eldridge who was the son of Richard Eldridge and his wife Mary Wraight. George came to America with his widower father Richard Eldridge in 1855. At that time, George was about 14 years old. They settled in Locke Berlin, NY where Richard Eldridge died. Young George moved west to KS and IA. He served in the Civil war as a KS volunteer.
