I am new to the list and would be interested in any information concerning Eldridges from or near Kent Co., England. My connection is with James S. and Harriate Higgins Eldridge. She was born in 1836 and they were married on Apr 14, 1858 in Brompton Parish. James was a coal merchant with his own coal ship before he emmigrated to Michigan and became a farmer.
