Hi, Faith and all the other ELDREDGE people I have several ELDREDGE cousins (Edward, Jesse, Jesse, John, Mercy)--they loved to marry HIGGINS! My direct line goes through Sarah and her father Elnathan (mind 1700s). Her g granddaughter then married another Higgins. I also have NICKERSONs. Mercena Nickerson married yet another Higgins, Zebina, in 1836. Her father was Silas. Then I have an Elizabeth NICKERSON (father Ebenezer) married to Josiah Linnell, whose granddaugther, Lucinda LINNELL, married Mercena's son, Zebina H. in 1862. Another Higgins! Their daughter Stenie is my g g grandmother. I haven't found the early link between the NICKERSONs, though I know there must be one. And can't find info on Elnathan ELDREDGE. Anybody sound familar to you? Shall we dig deeper together?
