    3. Dear Mr. Stone: I am also researching my Eldridge links in England. As to Oxfordshire in the 1750's, I have two different sources. Richard Slatter <richard.slatter@slatter.com> wrote that Joseph Eldridge, born 1764 in Burford (Cotswolds) in Oxfordshire was his earliest Eldridge. David Johnson <dj4seattle@home.com> wrote that his earliest was John and Ann "Alldridge" who had seven children (Ann, Thomas, Mary, John, Elizabeth, Hester, and Jane from 1705 through 1724 in Ambrosden, Oxfordshire. His ancester was John 2 who married Christian Stowe in 1742 in Deddington, Oxfordshire but was listed in the parish records as John Eldridge. They lived in Fritwell, Oxfordshire and had seven children between 1743 and 1756. Either of these sources may be able to provide you additional data that may fill your gap. Good luck. I am seeking any information on Richard Eldridge, b. ca. 1575, in Surrey to a family of bell founders and was known as "The Bell Founder of Surrey." He had several sons; one son John, b. ca. 1606, was a bell founder also and moved to Manor of Chellwood Parish, Somerset, and left a will dated 11 September 1646 in which he mentions an unnamed minor brother who was across the seas. I am interested in any information on this family. Sincerely yours, Frank M. 3. Dear Judge Eldridge, I have been searching for a Franklin Eldridge who lived in Kingston, New York somewhere between about 1837 and 1929. He was married to Catherine Watts. I know it's a long shot but as your name is Frank, and I haven't found any Franklins, I was hoping you might have run across a Franklin or have one in your family tree. I would appreciate it if you would keep me in mind. Thanks you, Karen Watts High Judge Frank Eldridge wrote: > Dear Mr. Stone: > I am also researching my Eldridge links in England. > > As to Oxfordshire in the 1750's, I have two different sources.
