I am looking for information in regards to the J.W. ELDRIDGE family. He was born approx. 1809 in New York. In 1840 he was living in Cook County, Illinois in the first ward of Chicago. His profession was that of a physician. His wife was S. E. Eldridge, she was born approx. 1818 in New York. They had a daughter named Hetty S. Eldridge born in Illinois in approx. 1842 and a son, Charles T. Eldridge born in May 1851 in Illinois. Charles married on 1 November 1882 Stella Williams, born in January 1858 in Illinois. Charles and Stella lived in Sigourney Township, Keokuk County, Iowa by 1882.
