Hi Marybeth, I am looking for Obediah Eldridge origination point in life. He married Martha Redden of TN in around 1828, and had 5 children, Mahala, Martha Eveline, William R., L.H. (Lack), and O.H. He then married Elizabeth Winchester McQuistion and had 6 children (a total of 11) Aaron Pinkerton "Pink", Margaret Elizabeth, Rachel Ann, Rose Ann "Nan", Mary A. and Alaska B. I would appreciate any info you may have on Obediah's parentage. A great genealogist is working on this and he says he is stumped, perhaps his name changed but we have researched Eldred, Eldredge, and Elledge, and perhaps his first name is not Obediah. Road Block. Hi Marti, I am sorry I can't be of much help - I looked through my database as well as the Barnstable Mass vital records CD I have and didn't find anything. I looked under all variations of Obediah I could think of - but none were Eldridge or any variation of that.
