Hi: Seeking the ancestry of Letitia Eldridge, born 1736, probably at Chatham, Mass. married October 4, 1759 at Chatham, Thomas Doane. Letitia died in childbirth July 26, 1766 at Barrington, N.S. Inscription on her tombstone (oldest in Cemetary) reads: Here lies the body of Mrs. Lettice Doane wife of Mr. Thomas Doane. She died in childbirth and was buried with her child in her arms July 26, 1766, aged 33 years. Any help appreciated!
