    1. [ELDRIDGE-L] ELDRIDGE Family
    2. One ELIZABETH ELDRIDGE of N. C. married JOHN HILL also of N. C. Records of Johnston County show that their marriage was performed September 14, 1818. They moved, along with a great number of people to south Alabama about 1820. This included LEES, ELDRIDGES, HILLS and INGRAMS. Some years later, the clan moved north to middle Alabama, and finally in 1845, they moved to Neshoba County, MS. JOHN HILL and ELIZABETH had, among others, a son by the name of LOVERD WHITMAN HILL. Living next to her in Neshoba County was a man about her own age (born c1795) by the name of LOVARD INGRAM. Somehow these two families are related. Additionally in the same neighborhood the so-called patriarch of the clan, AARON LEE and his wife MARY lived. Their first son had a middle initial of 'H'. (HILL perhaps?) Their first daughter had a middle initial of "E." (ELDRIDGE perhaps?) We would be grateful to anyone who might have some theories, or facts about these relationships. Harold
