Thanks, Roslyn>> The Pocahontas Descendants book, 1985, has no James. Not being a Pocahontas descenant, that would be expected. In my data base I have only one James4 Eldridge, (Howell3, Thos.2, Thos.1) the son of Howell and Martha Fisher Eldridge. I have only that he was born about 1789 in Brunswick Co., VA. Leila
