I have not been able to find any information about Dora ELAM (b.1885-d.ca.1910) or any record of her parents. All I can say is that Dora had a daughter (b.1898-d.1995),was presumed to be married to Fred Lockett of Charlotte Co., VA and died in or near Charlotte Co. Dora ELAM may have been born in a southwestern VA county, perhaps Wise Co. and may have had a younger brother. It seems that the name Dora was somewhat common in the 1800's and may have been a diminutive of other names, such as Isadora, Doreen, Doris, Dorthea, Dorothy, etc. Any kind of information relating to this would be GREATLY appreciated. email: NPVA3124@aol.com
