I hope this finds you well. One of my great-great grandfathers, Eli Elam, married a Lucinda Haney in 1891/1892. They had two children and then Lucinda died or they divorced and Eli remarried before the 1900 census. So the marriage took place and ended between censuses. Also there is no record of it (that I can find) in the Morgan Co. Marriage records for that time period. (You can see my frustration) Eli Elam was born in 1872. His parents are Samuel Elam born 1846 at Morgan Co. KY and Telitha (Delitha) Coffee Born 1 mar 1852. Married 1 Feb 1866 at Magoffin Co KY. Eli is found with his second wife Elivery (I believe Olive J Wilson), and his two children Ellen and William in the 1900 Morgan Co. KY Census. William is my great-grandfather.
