Edward Elam Sr.--we have B. abt 1737 Eng. and D. 1811, Va. We have no more information on Jane. Edward was born 1733, Eng., D. 1810, Va. Someone has come up with some differing info connecting Edward to another family but we haven't seen documentation of that yet. The children were : John Daniel Samuel Edward Jr. Mary (Molly) Rebecca Sarah Elizabeth Nancy I descend from Edward Jr. and HE moved to Tenn. with his second wife and two children by her. I have that from a bible record of a Mr. William Elam, Medina, TN. I, being a member also of the Gardner/Garner family, have records of Edward Jr. living here in Rutherford/Cleveland Co., for a time. No record of Jane ever being here. Anderson Samuel Elam moved here in about 1818 and his daughter, Sarah Elam married my Great Grandfather, Rufus W. Gardner. Take a look at out Gardner Web Page and you can see which ones moved to TN. "http://www.shelby.net/marilynn". >> Marilyn Thanks so much for this information. I forwarded it to Beverly. Thanks also for the information on the web pages. LaDonna
