I visited the Black Jack Cemetery, near Baldwin City, KS, today and photographed the following headstones. Would appreciate hearing from anyone recognizing the names. The headstones were inscribed: "Elijah ELAM, Co. A, 72 En Mo Mil" (72nd Enrolled Missouri Militia). This is my gg-grandfather. His parents were Reuben ELAM and Leah LANCE. ELAM Daniel B. 1852 - 1881 Cynthia Caroline His Wife 1850 - 1909 Infant - 1881 Daniel's parents were George W. ELAM and Martha HARPOLE. George W.'s parents were Reuben ELAM and Leah LANCE.
