LaHarpe, Sept 24 - Mr. Joseph Franklin ELAM died Tuesday morning about 5 o'clock at his home here after a long illness. The funeral services were held this morning at 10 o'clock from the Baptist church with Rev. McDonald Thompson of Ottawa officiating, and the body was shipped to Moreland, Okla for internment. Probate Records, Allen County, KS, Packet 3018, names his heirs as: Mary D. ELAM, wife, age 80, of LaHarpe, KS J. ELAM, son, of Wichita, KS Sherman ELAM, son, of Wichita, KS Milton ELAM, son, of Moreland, OK Etta PRICE, daughter, of Humboldt, KS Lydia MACKELWAYNE, daughter, of Burton, KS (all of legal age) Regards, Bob Walker
