Cassie, Windows 98 users can click on the Windows update icon in the Start menu and microsoft will check the system on line and download and install any upgrades needed for Y2k or any other parts of Windows 98. It is possible for windows 98 to be Y2K compliant but some of the microsoft software not to be.
