Dear Glenn and Frank - or Anyone who has the book "The Elam Family": I am interested in obtaining the book, "The Elam Family", myself. However I am reluctant to do so. My entire Elam line hangs by a slender thread of hearsay, deduction and guess work. Before I spend $50.00 I would appreciate one little look up. Is there any mention of the marriage of Keziah Elam (b. c. 1753), daughter of Gilbert Elam IV (d. c. 1765 Chesterfield Co VA)?? She was the sister of Josiah Elam from whom the Ohio Elams descend. Both Keziah and Josiah Elam were raised in the household of their step-father Archelaus Nunnally (b. Chesterfield Co., d. 1794 Powhatan Co VA). Their mother Elizabeth (I have maiden name Scott) remarried to Archelaus. I have been told but have never proved that Keziah Elam married one James Franklin Nunnally (b. 3 Jan 1760 VA, d. 15 Feb 1838, Elbert Co GA) first cousin once removed from the said Archelaus. I know from other sources that James Franklin Nunnally married (1st) someone named Keziah who died before 1810, as he remarried in 1810. But I have not been able to prove or find any resource concerning Keziah's maiden name. Your help would be gratefully appreciated, Barry Michie Manhattan, KS
