Hello Cassie, Thanks for the information, the Lafayette Elam I am looking for was born in Texas and died in Texas (I believe). I don't know when he was born, I know his son my ggrandfather Elmo Thomas Elam was born in 1894 in Texas and died in Alcorn County, MS.
