Hello Jayne, I have that Henry Walthall was b. in 1761 in Amelia Co., Virginia (guardian of Nancy Eanes when she married Lewellen Elam) and married Elizabeth Eanes in Amelia Co. Henry died in Campbell Co., Va -- but I don't have a death date for him. Henry and Eliz Walthall had at least one child, a son William Walthall who was born in Amelia Co., and appears to have lived there his entire life. I don't know who his wife was but he had at least one child, a daughter Mary Walthall who married first to ? Bass and second to Joseph Dinwiddie. I believe Elizabeth Eanes (wife of Henry Walthall) was the daughter of Henry Eanes. Henry had a son whose name I don't know. That son had a daughter Mary "Polly" OR Nancy Eanes who married Lewellen Elam the son of Richard Elam of Campbell Co., VA. I have searched and searched but I'm unable to establish an earlier Walthall and Elam connection. The Walthall, Eanes, Elam, Branch, Wooldridge, and Bass families seem to have been kin, but I am unable to establish the extent. I welcome any additonal information or research suggeations.
