    3. Sarah Egner Todd County KY Page 163 Kentucky Todd County Court This indenture made and entered? Into this 28th day of April 1837 between Sarah Egner of the county of Todd and state of Kentucky of the one part & John W Kendall of the county & state aforesaid of the other part witnesseth that the said Egner for and in consideration of the sum of one dollar to her in hand paid by said Kendall and for the further consideration her in after mentioned hath granted bargained & sold & doth by these presents grant bargain & sell to said Kendall the following described property toward? four head of cattle three cows & one calf one red cow one nearly white with some red spots and one rouged? sided & white back the calf spotted white & red eighteen head of hogs principally sows & pigs two feather bedsteads & firniture one half dozen split bottom chairs one loom two wheels one little wheel and one large wheel and all my household & kitchen furniture. To have and to hold said articles to him said Kendall and his heirs forever nevertheless and these presents presents are entered into on this express condition towith whereas the said Egner stands justly in debted to said Kendall by note bearing even debts? herewith Page 164 in the just sum of twenty dollars, now shall the said will and truly pay & satisfy said note with all interest that may accrue thereon and costs of collection and the costs of recording this mortgage than these interests and and any clause herein to be void & of no effect otherwise to remaining in full forse & virtue in law in testimony I have hereto put my hand & seal the note above written her Sarah + Egner mark Henry M. Egner Todd County KY Page 325 Egnor HM to Mortgage Campbell examined This indenture made and entered into this 6th of August 1836 between Henry M Egnor of the County of Todd and State of Kentucky of the one part and Waller L Campbell of the County and State aforesaid of the other part witnesseth that the said Egnor for and in consideration of the sum of one dollar to him in hand paid and for the further consideration herein after mentioned hath granted bargained and sold and doth by these presents grant bargain and sell unto the said Campbell his heirs be one black horse one ? mear & colt one black mear my ?? oxen and waggon saddle and bureau. To have and to hold said articles to him? said Campbell and his heirs forever nevertheless and these presents ate entered in to on this express consideration ? that whereas the said Campbell on the 13th of February 1836 became security for said Egnor in a note executed to Barry Hunt for the sum of eighty five dollars and fifty cents for the hire of negroe John due and payable the 25th of December next and said Campbell also this day became security for said Egnor in a note to George Venable for the sum of forty seven dollars and seventy nine cents due and payable twelve months after date now shall said Egnor will and truly pay and satisfy said notes when they become due and all costs of collection and interests and the costs of recording this mortgage and indemnify same harmless said Campbell form all loss or responsibility on account of the security aforesaid then these presents and every clause herein to be void else to remain in full force In testimony whereof I have hereto put my hand and seal the ? date ? above written HM Egnor Cousin Phillip "Dean" Egner 40 Fairview Chase Covington, GA 30016 770-385-0893
