Have you looked at the court house in Monroe? It has been 10 years or so since I was there and I was not looking for Erskine but they had a lot of wills and other papers at that time that were not in Charleston. They were not taking very good care of them so a lot of the papers have been lost. If you get to Monroe you might give it a look see. I would like to know what happened to Elizabeth Egnor who married Alexander Erskine in 1833. I have a list of her children 6 girls & 2 boys.
