    3. Celia, No,I would not have thought of looking for other spellings of Egner. A separate Agner list could open up a whole new world of information. The Eagle newsletter could also be very interesting. Who knows what puzzle pieces may show up? You may answer them to me personally (hartmann@bright.net or Gen_Searchin@yahoo.com or direct them to the list. First, mainly for Agner researchers: If you went searching for an "Agner" mail list, would have known, or even thought, to look under Egner? Second, for everyone: Would you be interested in articles from the old Eygner Family Association's newsletter called the Eagle? (This family association was in use from 1986 to 1995 or so and was a snail mail version of our mail list, covering all variants/all time-periods). Reason for #1: I am thinking of starting an Agner mailing list, just in case any researchers looking for such a list do not know to look under Egner. While Agner and Egner can mean two separate lines, some Agner lines became Egner or Egnor. I am concerned about Agner researchers not knowing to look under Egner. Our current list would still be the main mail list and I would tell ones who signed up for the Agner to please join the Egner instead. I don't want to miss anyone. Reason for #2: I have some issues of the old Eagle newsletters. I have permission from the editor to post articles to our list, in hopes that may give some clues to various researchers. Realize though, that the information in these articles is someone else's research and may contain inaccuracies. They are useful to use as clues and they did cover many lines. I thought maybe I could post one, maybe two if short, articles a week, when the list is slow--I don't want to overload mail boxes. I look forward to hearing your response. --Celia H., list owner ==== EGNER Mailing List ==== Visit the Egner/Agner resource page: http://resources.rootsweb.com/surnames/e/g/EGNER/ Post your Queries, Bible Records, Bios, Deeds, Obits, Pensions, and Wills on the appropriate GenConnect Board: http://resources.rootsweb.com/surnames/e/g/EGNER/#gc ============================== RootsWeb.com now offers UNLIMITED Web space for FREE!
